Swinter

This is an old picture, but in lieu of the cool weather I needed to interject some summer into my life. All the Garners are doing well, gymnastics, school and basketball practice..and did I mention middle school drama? Anyways, we are almost ready for Christmas and the kids are already out of school. Ahh to be in school and have "break" again. So, for now...Merry Christmas. Ill post our newest pictures soon.....

A new year, a new way to be

So this is the first post of 2008 here in the blog spot. I really was not very good at keeping up with it last year. I really feel that this year I need to do a better job of posting and of keeping family up to date with my growing and ever changing family. Sooooo....

Josh and the kids and I are well thus far into this year. Josh works too many hours, but these days who doesn't. Payton and Isaiah are both in gymnastics. Payton is on the girls competitive team. Isaiah takes boys rec classes but only until baseball season per Isaiah. The was the first year that both kids are in school. Payton is in 2nd grade and Isaiah in kindergarten. I was very lonely for the first few weeks that they went to school. Now I make hairbows all day long in a shop in Angier NC. It is in the same building as the kids gymnastics classes. I like it and it gives me something to do while the kids are living their lives at school. So far I think this may be enough for now. I will post some newer pictures soon, but I can't now because I am currently at work....on a break of course. So, until next time......

thought for the day!!

Remember, when the world pushes you to your knees, you're in the perfect position to pray.

Family

This is our family picture taken on December 23rd. For once my eyes were not closed. I am just thankful for that. Josh and the kids always take wonderful pictures....this one is okay of me.

Hi to all!

Hey everyone! This is my first official blog other than on myspace. I am hoping that with this I can communicate with family and friends and let them know what is going on with my family in the lovely town on Angier, NC (pronounced an-jer). I hope to post pictures soon and will also post some of my new found interest in making my own laundry detergents and the like!! Until next time!
